It was located on Hampton Avenue, which is the road that runs directly up to the Kelly Mine from Highway 295 (Nosser Ave.). appeared in the Rand District News. They offered a first class short order breakfast and family style lunch and dinner. Rooms were available by the day, week, or month.
FRANK ISKA — LINCOLN HOUSE
On 7 June 1922 an advertisement appeared in the Rand District News stating that in addition to his shoe repair business Mr. Iska was had rooms for rent. Mr. Iska was still advertising in January of 1925, although it was for shoe repairs only and no mention of rooms was made in the advertisement.
