CHARLES SHARAR

Charles and his wife are known to have been residing in Atolia in 1912.  A Photo of the Hotel has been attributed to the period of the First World War 1916 to 1918.

MRS. ERICKSON—MRS. I. W. HENDRICKSON– SOUTHERN HOTEL

The Southern Hotel which was located on Rice Avenue near Second St. in the residential area of Atolia and was reported by The Atolia News in May or 1916  to have been built by Mrs. Erickson of Bakersfield and a Mrs. I. W. Hendrickson.  Which one is correct is unknown.

L.M. CHIROS—ATOLIA HOTEL

The Atolia Hotel was located on Randsburg Avenue.  It had twenty rooms and was equipped with a bath and sleeping porches.

TUNGSTEN HOTEL

Gene Carlton of the Tungsten Hotel went to Bakersfield Friday.
