PALACE CAFE

The Barstow Printer reported in January of 1920 that Mrs. Jennie White; the hostess of the Palace Cafe married Edwin Halloway and old time resident of Randsburg

LEROY & COSTLEY — MOCHA RESTAURANT

An advertisement for the Mocha Restaurant was found in the June 7, 1922 edition of the Rand District News. On April 14 1923 a fire that started in the Mocha Cafe destroyed that building and 15 to 20 other buildings in Osdick.

SHAMROCK CAFE

In the newpaper report regarding the April 1923 fire in Osdick it was reported that “Constable Red Mahood, with a fire extinguisher recruited from the California Rand mine, saved the Shamrock restaurant and the upper camp.

ALEX TORMAS & DICK TVERDEVICH–RED MOUNTAIN CAFE

In August of 1924 a Notice of Nonresponsibilty was ran in the local newspaper announcing the purchase of the Red Mountain Cafe in Osdick to the above owners
